Rain gutters can be useful we all know that– lots of indoor and outdoor DIY ideas flooding the internet. But do you know you can even make bookshelves out of them?
One 10 ft vinyl rain gutter will cost you just under $6, and a set of caps (what you attach to the end of each shelf) are also just under $6!! So for around $12 (assuming you make one 10 ft shelf instead of cutting it in two like I did) you can transform your walls into a book gallery for your little one/s!
The installation process pretty much consists of sawing your gutters to your desired amount (they just it in half to make two shelves), finding studs on the section of the wall you want to mount them to, using a leveler to make sure they come out straight and screwing them in! That’s it!
